TESTIMONIAL : We had a recent experience with a well-known contractor who landscaped our backyard and updated our front yard. Within a few months of the completed job, we started having serious problems and lost some expensive trees and shrubs not appropriate for our location and climate. The problems were so great that the renovation of our entire landscape required an almost complete rebuild. 

A referral led to a meeting with Linda Rose of Desert Rose Landscape Design, who reviewed our landscape issues and listened to our needs. Linda invested a significant amount of time in measuring every aspect of our property. She recommended new plants and trees, provided descriptions of each, including photos, offered options for hardscape improvements, and provided a rough draft of the planting locations and layout. We reviewed and considered her recommendations, then met again to finalize the plans. 

Linda presented detailed and accurate engineering drawings showing the entire lot, hardscape, sprinkler valve boxes, gas, hose bibs, house exterior electrical outlets, windows, doors, mechanical equipment, etc. The drawings called out the existing plants, indicating those which were to remain, be relocated, or removed. It showed the new plants and trees, how they were to be planted, plus rock color selection and layout. The drawings were a comprehensive blueprint to be used by our new landscape contractor to complete the job. 

Being an engineer, I highly respect her efforts, expertise, and commitment to excellence. Her drawings are equal to any I’ve seen during my long career as an engineer. Linda listened to our needs and did a fantastic job at delivering a design that complements our home and is compatible with the weather conditions in our area.
